<description>A kind of pre-release &#039;Single&#039; for the Malhaus Construction Kit collection, &quot;Reparation Day&quot; is a spin-off of that project and uses very different musical material and a ghostly &#039;fish waveform&#039;. It&#039;s 15 and a half minutes, like one of those slimline CD singles seen in the shops in the 1990s and 2000s, and is partly disturbing, partly peaceful. &quot;Cyborg Vombatron&quot;, added 5th of April 2006, is an after-statement of the piece, all drums and machinery and ear-splitting bass.
In terms of the story of Malhaus, these are two slices of his fantasy-life where he pictures himself as the sci-fi hardman, either beating in the heads of everyone who oppresses and annoys him, or else going on a psychotic mechanical rampage as a superhuman robot. (Yes he&#039;s deluded.)</description>

<notes>&quot;Reparation Day&quot; is the kind of CD Single for the Malhaus Construction Kit collection. It lasts about as long as one of those (god-awful) &quot;CD Singles&quot; with the slimline case and four tracks from a forthcoming pop album. It&#039;s really a piss-take of that whole institution.

The musical material is quite different from the rest of the Malhaus project.

The cover art is by the man who most closely embodies the character of Malhaus, Mr Max Andersson, and the piece is intended to be consumed close to bed-time so long as you&#039;re not expecting to dream of clouds and daisies.

The B-side (30 minutes) &quot;Cyborg Vombatron&quot; is intended to be deployed together with &quot;Reparation Day&quot; as the final &#039;fringe Malhaus&#039; piece of March 2006. It has its own cover art so you could call it a &quot;double A-side&quot; lol</notes>
